![]() Yes, I’m a real hardcore series loyalist (look at me slaving away at Final Fantasy XIII even though I know it’s not that great) and the Prince of Persia trilogy is really one of my favorites. Second, I did play the latter two games, BUT, both games GLITCHED mid-boss fight so I’ve actually never FINISHED them! This collection gives me a second chance to beat the hell out of those bosses who escaped from my wrath the last time through their dastardly glitching! ![]() I hardly ever backtrack when I play a series (my eyes can’t take any regression in graphics), even though I know that The Sands of Time is way better than its successors. First, I’ve never played the first game of the series, since I was a late bloomer and I only discovered the beauty of Prince of Persia when the second game was launched. I’m genuinely excited! My gaming fingers have been itching to play a good platformer (The Forgotten Sands, based on its reviews, seems too expensive for what it’s worth, but I’ll buy it later on anyway) and I think this 3-in-1 platforming extravaganza is perfect for the job!Īlso, this trilogy had been a source of frustration back in my PS2 days. He is an adventurer from a foreign land who has never experienced royalty, but wins the heart of the Sultan's daughter on a trip to Persia. Warrior Within = angry prince (with good cause, since he was being stalked by a horn-y monster) The prince appears in the original Prince of Persia (1989) as the protagonist and sole playable character. ![]() For those unfamiliar with these games or who’ve forgotten their finer plot points, here’s a brief refresher: The Prince of Persia Trilogy 3D is a compilation of three titles released on the PS2, namely Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and the Two Thrones. ![]()
